How to use group chat

Learn how to use the group chat in Swap Language to communicate with your teacher and speaking group.

Each group has its own group chat.

You can use it to communicate with your teacher and other participants before and after your lessons.

 

How to use group chat (Step-by-step)

1. Log in to the platform

Go to the Language Hub.

2. Open your speaking group

Navigate to your current speaking group.

3. Click Group chat

Inside your group, you’ll see the chat area.

4. Write and send a message

Type your message and send it directly to your group.

Everyone in the group — including your teacher — will be able to see it.

What can you use group chat for?

You can use the group chat to:

  • Coordinate possible reschedule times

  • Ask questions about homework

  • Share useful resources

  • Inform the group if you’ll be slightly late

For urgent technical issues, contact support directly instead.
